近期有供应商伙伴向CTK团队询问“POD”的含义，今天我们就来结合Costco的官方说明，为大家清晰解读这个概念。 “When import containers are received at Costco’s distribution center, the products are unloaded from the container and placed onto a Costco approved 48 in L x 40 in W (121.9 cm L x 101.6 cm W) wood pallet by a clamping machine. In an attempt to reduce costs associated with packaging and handling we are requesting that certain products are shipped in a cube that our depots will place directly on a Costco approved pallet. We call this cube of merchandise a POD. The 48 in L side is the front of the POD. When the Costco warehouses receive the POD, all they have to do is take the corrugate off the top and four sides and slide the pallet into place. The Costco members shop merchandise directly off the pallet display.”
